Bella has been enchanted by jewellery since she was four years old and her mother took her to the Brighton Bead Shop. “It was like a candy store. I lost hours on my bedroom floor to making different combination earrings.”

Her passion turned serious when she asked for a soldering iron for her 12th birthday. After doing some research, her parents discovered that what she really needed was a flame – but they weren’t about to entrust her with one at home. So they enrolled her in evening classes instead.

It was there that Bella made her first piece of jewellery. “I made a silver ring at the evening class and I was just amazed. I used a flame to make it into one solid piece. The obsession took hold and I kept going.”
