Every piece of jewellery we create sits at the centre of a unique love story and we therefore document the process with the same care and attention we bring to the pieces themselves. Tell us about your own story, send us some of your favourite memories and we’ll co-create your own Love Story with every ring.
Carat, Clarity, Colour and Cut are the four characteristics by which diamonds are graded according to their beauty and structure. Knowing how these ratings work together means you can make smart choices in picking a diamond that works for your design and budget. Find out more in our introduction to the 4 Cs.
Can I make my own piece?
Yes. We’re in the business of co-creation, in that we make everything in total collaboration with you. It doesn’t have to be a ring either, we can make necklaces, earrings and bracelets to your specifications.
If working digitally is more convenient, you can create your engagement ring design online and choose every element, from the style of your piece to the diamond characteristics and metal choice. Start creating now.
When you visit us in-store you can customise your design either solo or together as a couple. You’ll meet our craftspeople and co-create everything from the style of your piece, to the diamond and metal choice, and also add custom notes like having a sentimental date or the impression of a fingerprint engraved on your design. You can take a seat at the workbench with our experts as your jewellery is crafted and even set the stones yourself.
How quickly can my design be made?
Just let us know how quickly you need it. We’ll never compromise on the quality of your creation, but if you have a specific deadline you need us to work to, then we will do. We’ve been able to turn around some custom and bespoke pieces within days.
Which is the most important element when designing a ring?
It all comes down to personal preference. We would advise that you either visit one of our stores to view our diamonds in person and inspect the different aspects of each one, or create your own ring on our website. You can configure a design according to metal, style and setting then compare different diamond options to really see what works best.
If you had to pin us down on it, we’d say that of the 4 Cs, the cut of your diamond is the most important factor. It can really optimise the grades of the other three Cs and make the most of your budget. Learn about the 4 Cs here.
Where can I be smart with my budget?
Crunching the numbers to optimise the 4 Cs can help you get the most out of your budget. Our advice is to dare to dip a little on your carat weight – a difference of 0.10ct can appear very slight but end up saving you a lot. If you want a colourless icy diamond, know that it’s going to set you back a lot more than a stone with a slight tint Colour choice really depends what sort of look or style you’re going for and the metal you’d like for your jewellery. Diamonds which are further down the colour spectrum give off a more of a tint than icy, colourless ones do, which really compliments yellow or rose gold and can look beautiful as part of an antique aesthetic.
