VASHI is an ethical, fine-jewellery service that puts you at the heart of the design and making process. We believe that something you’ve had a hand in making yourself is more powerful than something you simply buy. With a workshop in every store, we are uniquely positioned to co-create original jewellery with our customer aligned to their particular specifications and budget. Customers can pull up a work-stool and take part in the making process.
The foundations of a unique business model are well established and there is nothing to stop us from creating something iconic. Skills and experience are important but even more so is a hunger to be part of the journey and to input into the collective whole. In building this culture, passion trumps talent and talent trumps experience - finding the right people with the right attitude, the right character and a desire to work hard, be nice and fight for each other will be the difference between success and failure.
Dynamic and strategic
We’re looking for a dynamic, creative and entrepreneurial Social Media Manager to work with our branding team to establish the new VASHI voice and bring it to millenials and gen Z as the number one bespoke jewellery brand.
You’ll have proven experience in channel planning, scheduling platforms and a process for improving performance on an ongoing basis including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Youtube. As our in-house Social Media manager, you will establish which platforms we’re present on and how we behave on them.
Working with an external agency on paid social you’ll input on their creative and analyse their reports.
Being socially responsive and consistent is going to be key, so you will need to join conversations and interact daily.
We are a new and growing team. We are building out the social part of the business from the top down. While this currently means one in-house role working with external agencies, as our senior leader in social media you will advise on staffing requirements, such as expansion in community management roles, social assistants and so on.
You’ll have a natural sense for content aesthetics – working into the Head of Brand Image you will know what looks good for the brand and what doesn’t. You’ll love mood boarding and follow relevant Instagram accounts.
Copywriting and content will play a huge part, so exceptional writing style and creative flair exemplified through proven track record of implementing successful and innovative marketing campaigns.
A joined-up thinker
Understanding, nurturing and using social media as both a marketing tool to build brand and sales tool to drive growth is hugely necessary. Keeping in touch with our network of persons of influence will be as important as feeding insights from communications with our customers through to relevant teammates - whether in brand, sales or production.
If you’re highly analytical, able to conduct detailed audience analysis, with a proactive approach to using social media as a research tool and are able to gather results of social media campaigns, providing evaluation and analytics for future campaigns but also looking beyond the numbers at the bigger picture then we’d love to hear from you.
