Job Title
Payroll/HR Assistant

Overview

To support the Head Office and Retail functions with administrative duties including a heavy focus on Payroll, Health and Safety and Human Resources. Ensuring the flow of office, managing files, updating paperwork and other documents related to organisational functions.

Role and Responsibilities

  • To be a VASHI brand ambassador at all times
  • Where required drafts, formats and prints relevant documents
  • Maintains and orders office supplies as needed
  • Assists in purchase orders and invoicing
  • Manages incoming and outgoing post
  • Responsible for presentation and preparation of meeting rooms
  • To build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the store teams
  • Supports the HR department with administrative tasks such as surveys, reference requests, employee reports
  • To assist the Talent team with telephone screenings, booking interviews and other administrative tasks
  • Data entry where required
  • Manage and maintain the probation review process
  • Work together with external Payroll provider and Operations Director to ensure payroll processing is carried out in a timely manner
  • Responsible for administrational Payroll duties
  • Completing expenses reports for Directors where necessary
  • Completes Health and Safety induction for all new starters at Head Office
  • Ensures Health and Safety checklists are being completed as required
  • Provide all new stores with H&S folder and supporting documents e.g. risk assessments
  • Any other ad hoc duties related to Administration

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will be an existing Office/HR Assistant or a Payroll Administrator with a keen interest in administration. The candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of functional support tasks. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and able to deal with confidential and sensitive information. The ability to communicate well at all levels. You will be highly organised and accurate in all aspects of admin.
