What is the difference between white gold and platinum?
While platinum is a naturally white metal, white gold is an alloy of yellow gold and other metals, coated with rhodium to give it the white colour. Over time the rhodium can wear off and appear a little bit yellow and so we offer a free annual maintenance service which includes a free re-coating of your white gold ring each year. Platinum has the advantage of being hypoallergenic, more durable and rarer than white gold. It doesn't wear away over time, as metal is never lost, but rather displaced. White gold has the advantage of being cheaper.

Can i get my ring resized if the size isn't right?Read more
You are most welcome to get your ring resized, for solitaire settings the first resize up or down three whole sizes is free of charge, any bigger or smaller and there is a charge of £40. For rings with side stones on the band, we recommend sending your ring into us so our workshop can assess the ring and quote a price based on the size the ring is going from and to.
